Produced by compression vulcanization, they adopt full rubber‑coated metal shell fitted with a garter spring to maintain constant lip pre‑tension. Available elastomer options include oil‑resistant NBR nitrile rubber and high‑temperature tolerant silicone rubber. Its dual‑lip construction delivers two‑way protection: the primary lip stops grease leakage, while the secondary dust‑proof lip blocks mud, dust and moisture to safeguard hub bearings.
