40‑55‑8 PTFE lip rotary shaft oil seals are stainless‑steel‑cased high‑speed shaft seals specially for screw air compressors. Manufactured by precision turning, outer housing adopts SS304 stainless steel; sealing lip is modified filled‑PTFE material, available in single‑lip or double‑lip structure. Featuring ultra‑low friction, self‑lubricating property, excellent chemical‑resistance and wide temperature adaptability from‑60℃ up to 260℃. It tolerates high peripheral speed up to 45 m/s, works under oil‑lubricated, little‑oil or dry‑running conditions where common rubber oil seals fail. The lip maintains stable contact with rotating shaft to lock internal lubricating oil and block dust, moisture and particle contamination. Dimension 40 mm shaft‑diameter ×55 mm outer‑diameter ×8 mm width, widely interchangeable for screw air‑compressor main shafts, vacuum pumps and high‑temperature reduction boxes. Standard 40‑55‑8 size in stock. Custom lip‑structure, PTFE filler formula and OEM marking are supported per customer requirements.
